It doesn’t top the Ping An finance Center in Shenzhen, China, but, at 1,131 feet, the Edge sky deck in New York City’s ultra-sleek Hudson Yards is the tallest outside of Asia. With nearly 360-degree views, “Edge will literally change the way you see New York City,” says Jason Horkin, executive director of Hudson Yards Experiences. On a clear day, you’ll be able to see 80 miles into New Jersey and New York state. Some features are more akin to theme park rides. Visitors can sip champagne as they lean against outwardly angled glass walls. If that’s not enough to juice your adrenaline, there’s a glass floor revealing a 100-story drop. Even veteran thrill-seekers will give it a second glance.
